Serving SFO since 2020

Built by someone who drives.

General Limo Services Inc. is a licensed California charter-party carrier based in Burlingame, five minutes from SFO. We started with one car and one operator, and we grew the way the work allowed.

The company began on the road, not in an office. Years of airport runs across the Peninsula taught us where the actual delays are: not traffic, but the fifteen minutes a passenger spends looking for a car that's parked at the wrong door.

So we built the operation around that. Flight numbers on every airport booking. Real curb coordinates by terminal and door. Chauffeurs who arrive ahead of the window rather than on it. None of that is glamorous, and all of it is the difference between a ride and a service.

Today GLS Black is a network. We hold the TCP authority and dispatch; vetted partner carriers hold their own authority, their own insurance and their own vehicles. That's how three guests can leave for SFO at six in the morning and three cars show up.

We stay small on purpose. Every partner is verified against CPUC and California Secretary of State records before they take a single trip, and a document that expires suspends the account automatically. It's slower to grow that way. It's also why the car is there.

How partners are vetted

Nobody drives on our word alone.

Four checks, in order, before a partner carrier is assigned a single trip.

1

CPUC authority

Verified active in the CPUC portal, with commercial insurance on file, under the partner's own name — not a relative's and not a company they merely drive for.

2

Secretary of State

Entity in good standing, and the applicant named as an officer, manager or member on the current Statement of Information.

3

Document review

Driver license, commercial insurance, vehicle registration, business license and W-9. Expiry dates are tracked and enforced automatically.

4

Signed agreement

An executed subcarrier agreement addressing the Labor Code §2776 business-to-business criteria in full.

Drive with GLS.

We work with independent carriers who hold their own TCP authority. See exactly what's required, then apply in the app.
